We apply a calming serum and provide a detailed post-treatment protocol covering the next 48 to 72 hours. Consultation
Every microneedling client starts with a skin assessment. We evaluate your skin type, the specific concerns you want to address, your treatment history, and your goals. From there, we build a customized protocol — including the number of sessions, depth settings, and any combination treatments that will accelerate your results.
Treatment Day
Arrive with clean skin, free of active products. We handle the rest — numbing, preparation, and the SkinPen treatment itself. Plan for approximately 60 to 75 minutes total including numbing time.
24–48 Hours Post
Your skin will be red and may feel warm, like a mild sunburn. Avoid direct sun, active ingredients (retinol, AHAs, BHAs), and heavy makeup during this window. We provide a post-care protocol tailored to your skin.
Days 3–7
Redness fades. Some clients notice mild flaking as the skin renews. This is normal — your healing response is doing exactly what we triggered it to do.
Weeks 4–6
Collagen remodeling continues beneath the surface. Visible improvement in texture, tone, and scarring becomes more apparent. Your next session is typically scheduled at this point.
Full Protocol
Most treatment plans involve 3 to 6 sessions spaced 4 to 6 weeks apart. Mild texture concerns may resolve in 3 sessions. Deeper acne scarring typically requires 5 to 6 sessions for optimal results. Your protocol is built for your skin — not a generic recommendation.
